Kisses!!!!

Minnie is doing great, she still doesn't like the horses but I think she really loves her new home and her sisters. She loves to give hugs which is different than Reba's hugs. Minnie gets on your lap and wraps her paws around your neck-Reba knocks you down if you aren't ready.

Her and Reba play a lot. Reba is really good with her but gets her feelings hurt when Minnie and Lola play and don't include her. I really think Reba believes she is also a Chihuahau. She climbed up in my husband's lap yesterday morning, curled up and went to sleep. Here are some pics of Minnie and our 60 pound Chihuahua Reba. They had been playing for a while and then just start kissing on each other.

Hair cut

Angel got a hair cut, and not by me but a professional. I have been cutting her hair for the last few years. I do okay but I can't ever get it cut as good as a groomer. My husband has never seen her cut like this and couldn't believe it. She looks younger, is so soft and feels much better!!!! She looks like a little teddy bear.

Best friends

Minnie really loves Lola. She likes all of the dogs but Lola and Reba are her favorites.

My poor husband, pretty soon he will sitting on the floor. The girls LOVE his recliner.

I came home last night to Missy, Minnie and Lola playing in the living room. WOW. Things are going great with the girls.

Hey I want up there too!

My poor husband now has to share his recliner with Lola and Minnie. They love it. And Reba, who thinks she is tiny, is thinking about joining them.

New family member

Only I could go to the dentist and end up with a dog. Two weeks ago I went to a new dentist and as we were talking they asked if I had kids. I said "well kinda..I have 14 dogs."I am going to start lying about my dogs because when people hear 14 they always have one that needs a home or know someone who has one who needs a home. Sure enough the girl shows me this picture...but I said no. I told my husband about her and we agreed that we wouldn't get her. Well last week I had to go back and I asked about the puppy. She belonged to one of the girls who works there sister. And she still had her and was going to take her to the pound. We live in a county with one of the highest kill rates in the state. My head told me she would get adopted fast, my heart told no way I was taking that chance. We got the puppy. Her name is Minnie and she is 12 weeks old. She is scared of everything!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine her in a pound.

We brought her home and let her decompress in our bedroom with the doors shut. It took a few hours before she would even come out of her kennel. We really just let her relax and smell around Saturday. Sunday we slowly introduced her to her new sisters. Lola was so excited. They are the same size and so cute. But Lola is way more mellow and needs a break from her after a bit. Reba does well with her and so does Angel. At first Minnie barked and growled at them but I think when she realized they wouldn't hurt her she was more comfortable with them. Missy-because Minnie growls and barks it really puts Missy on edge..it doesn't take much. So that is still a work in progress.

Minnie is scared being outside but we did take her and Lola for a walk together and they did good. She has seen the horses and does not like them at all. I'm sure to her they look like giants. She hasn't seen Bullet yet...Bullet might be so mad he packs his stuff and leave.

Grandma-the plan was to put an orange shirt on her, rename her Summit and bring her to you but she is staying.

Lucky-5 months

Hard to believe it has been 5 months already. Lucky has gotten so big. His now bigger than his momma. His nose has gotten long and his hair is becoming longer and wavy. He is outside now with Sadie and they both seem to enjoy each other. I am sure he would rather be inside with my father in law but he was tripping him and we can't have him fall. Lucky's biggest fan is Patty our bloodhound. Her and Huffy are in the yard next to Lucky and Sadie. In the mornings when I walk all of the dogs are sleeping except Patty. She is sitting by the fence waiting for Lucky to get up. She loves the little guys! And for her he is little.

Oh my goodness!

Lola sleeping with her dad on the couch...he wasn't feeling good. When she is sleeping really good she dreams we think. She starts barking in her sleep and her feet start moving. Maybe dreaming about rabbits??

Angel

Just a cute picture of Angel...I have had so many people tell me she looks mean. I don't get that at all. She is the sweetest baby. She is getting old but loving life with the back yard. She loves to root like a little piggy in the yard and lay in the sun.
